Not only is this site meant as a directory, it also aims to offer some general advice about going on holiday to a log cabin. You will find some great articles on why staying in a log cabin is the ideal way to spend a holiday. Although there are many holiday cottages in the UK, I don’t think that there are many that can compare to some of the fantastic log cabins and their locations in the UK. Many of the log cabin holiday parks in the UK are less than 10 years old and so, more often than not, you can be assured of a clean, modern and warm place to spend your time relaxing. Not only this, if you’re a dog owner there are a lot more cabins where you will be welcome than holiday cottages or apartments. Log cabin breaks really are a fantastic alternative to the more traditional holiday cottages for dog owners. Having gone to many log cabin holiday sites at different times of the year in the UK, I can highly recommend staying in a log cabin or lodge to any one looking for a holiday with a difference. Although I like the summer sun my favourite log cabins are in the Lake District and pretty much any area of Scotland.
